    i m getting the following errors while uploading the program to the arduino board

    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

    how to clear it ?

    You HAVE TO select the correct port and [arduino] board from the Arduino IDE.

    If you bought a kit directly from us, it is either the ATMega168 or ATMega328 board. It takes longer to take the box apart to read the fine print on the top of the long black chip, so I would just suggest trying both board options.

    Similar issue, same solution.
