I was hoping to have my opensprints dev environment be on my Mac instead of the ubuntu netbook, but I can't get opensprints running. I think the issue is the version of shoes I'm using. The software starts to load, errors about not finding the Arduino, and then errors with a warning and an error and then stops.

Does anyone have guidance on which versions of each of these are needed?

Also, somewhat related, how does the software locate the .conf file? I've placed it in the same dir as the opensprints.rb, but it doesn't appear to be using my type: network line or talking to serproxy.

I am aware of that, and I'm not asking that it be, I'm asking for those who have gotten it working on Mac to share how they did so, or for others who are working on the project to comment about what versions of shoes are known to work with opensprints.

i actually don't want to run the software at events on a mac, but rather use my nice computer as opposed to an old netbook to develop and debug.
